Refund & Cancellation Policy

We sell through more than one channel, and the terms are not the same across them. Find your purchase below to see who the seller is, how cancellation works, and where to get help. For anything not covered here, email me@imrankhushal.com.

Agency services, consulting, and training

Seller: DZLRS INC, contracted directly with you.

Scope, deliverables, fees, currency, billing, and delivery schedule are confirmed in writing before payment.

Notice period. Done-for-you services and monthly retainers require one month's notice to end, from either side. Email us and we will confirm the effect on the current billing period in writing. Self-serve products have no notice period — there is nothing to cancel.

Refunds. There is no universal refund rule for services, because the work differs. Refund terms are set out in the scope of each project, according to the nature of that project, and agreed with you before payment. Your project agreement is the reference for any refund question.

Digital guides and resources

Sold through: Gumroad, which handles checkout, payment, file delivery, and receipts. Each listing shows its own current price, and free items are shown as free at checkout.

Downloads are available immediately after checkout, with a link emailed by Gumroad. If nothing arrives, check the email address you used, then contact us with your receipt. Purchases made on Gumroad are handled according to Gumroad's terms and policies, including refund requests. The same applies to anything bought through another marketplace: that platform's terms govern the purchase.

The Demand Playbook subscriptions

Purchased and managed on Substack, where current subscription options, prices, and included access are displayed at the point of purchase. Subscription billing is handled by Substack and subject to Substack's terms and policies.

Monthly subscriptions. Cancel at any time in your Substack account settings, or with the manage-subscription link in any email from the publication. Cancelling stops the next month's payment, and access continues to the end of the month you have paid for.

Annual subscriptions. Annual payments are not refunded. Access runs for the full year you have paid for.

Work engaged through a freelance marketplace

Where a verified marketplace profile is available, clients may engage us there instead of directly. That work follows the platform's own contracting, payment, dispute, and refund arrangements rather than the terms on this page. A marketplace profile does not make DZLRS an official partner of that platform.

Archived products

Our educational mentoring consultations — university choices, scholarship application planning, and application feedback — are archived and not currently bookable. If you purchased one previously and need support or records, email me@imrankhushal.com.
